	Trinity Smash Repairs started in Cairns in 1994 with our main job converting left hand drive Chevys to right hand drive. In 1997 we began conversions on 60 series Landcruiser wagons to dualcab utes and business has gone rapidly ahead since then. With the dualcab conversions came the business name RWV (Recreational Work Vehicles) Conversions Aust. We mainly complete dualcab conversions on Nissan Patrol, Toyota Landcruiser 80 series, Toyota Landcruiser 100 series, Toyota Landcruiser 70 series and we have completed conversions on the new Toyota Landcruiser 200 series. Our conversions have many alternatives, one of them is the size of the tray, from 1.55m to 2.5m long and many accessories can also be added to your vehicle. All vehicles are customized to the customer needs and look like a vehicle that came directly from the factory. Why take a good wagon and make it a dualcab ute? Many growing families are looking for a good 4WD to take off road and some of the newer models do not have the size a family requires.

As a dualcab you have the size required and all camping gear can be loaded into the tray with a larger size than the wagon and away from the seating area. All dualcabs have rear seats left the same as original, are fitted with Queensland Transport approved child restraints and a certification plate for all modifications.

Since 2007 we engineer and manufacture our own trays. Our trays are steel frame which is galvanized. Drop sides are double sided extruded alloy. The floor of the tray can be steel galvanized, alloy or wood. We also fit to trays a mounting bracket and fifth wheel tow hitch if required.

We also complete chassis extensions on dualcab utes and single cab utes to accommodate a larger tray and add an extra axel to make a ute a 6 wheeler for heavy loads. All chassis extensions are fitted with reinforcements and Queensland Transport approved certification for all modifications.

We repair chassis damage to all vehicles and fit chassis reinforcements to strengthen the underside of the vehicle and again Queensland Transport approved certification for all modifications is fitted to the vehicle.

Our work load is not limited to modifications we do general vehicle panel repairs, paint and insurance work also.
